Sponsored by ICAEW, ICAS, CIMA and CIPFA the Association of Accounting Technicians has been in existence for over 30 years.
The AAT qualification provides a solid base for any student aspiring to higher studies in accounting. All the sponsoring bodies offer significant exemptions to AAT affiliates.
The AAT qualification consists of three levels, (level 2 Foundation, level 3 Advanced Diploma and level 4 Professional Diploma) which will cover the key areas of Financial Accounting, Management Accounting, Taxation, Audit and Report Writing.
AAT examinations are computer based and Professional Accountancy Tutors is an AAT approved examination centre.
Further information on the AAT qualification, registration as a student and examinations syllabus is available on the AAT website www.aat.org.uk
AAT is the perfect start if you’re looking to study a professional qualification in accounting.
There are no entry requirements to study AAT, and you don’t need any relevant work experience, which is ideal if you’re leaving school or college or thinking about a change of career.
Even though there are no entry requirements, it will help if you’re good with numbers and committed to putting in the study hours.
